Risen from Ruins
It seems strange to some that we liberals refer primarily to the writings of the great Ludwig von Mises, which he wrote in the 1940s, that is to say more than half a century ago. But that is quite easy to explain: Due to the political situation in our homeland, it was not possible for liberal-minded people to become active in journalism for decades; so we lived a shadowy existence. This only changed with the general availability of Internet access. Without the Internet there would be no organized liberalism in Austria today! We may be a manageable group in terms of numbers, but our existence can no longer be denied.
